The SHFE aluminum experienced a significant decline today. As the weekend approached, suppliers intended to raise prices for shipments. Although downstream buyers bargained down purchasing prices, the intensity of their efforts eased. During the session, the futures price dropped again, leading to a divergence in transaction prices, and the overall transaction performance was satisfactory. In the Foshan aluminum billet market, prices were quoted at 210/260, up by 40. In the Wuxi market, processing fees were quoted at 300/350, up by 50/70. SMM March 28 News: On March 28, SMM A00 aluminum was quoted at 20,620 yuan/mt, down 190 yuan/mt from the previous day, at parity with the April contract, narrowing by 10 yuan/mt from the previous day. On March 28, SMM A00 aluminum (Foshan) was quoted at 20,580 yuan/mt, down 200 yuan/mt, at a discount of 35 yuan/mt to the current month, unchanged. (Unit: yuan/mt)

In terms of aluminum billet inventory, according to SMM statistics, domestic aluminum billet inventory in two regions showed Guangdong aluminum billet inventory at 161,000 mt, Wuxi aluminum billet inventory at 46,300 mt, totaling 207,300 mt, a decrease of 1,800 mt. Today, SHFE aluminum fell sharply, and as the weekend approached, suppliers intended to raise prices for shipments. Although downstream buyers bargained down purchasing prices, the intensity eased. During the session, futures prices fell again, leading to a divergence in transaction prices, and the overall transaction performance was satisfactory.

Today, the Foshan aluminum billet market was quoted at 210/260 yuan/mt, up 40 yuan/mt; the Wuxi market processing fee was quoted at 300/350 yuan/mt, up 50/70 yuan/mt; the Nanchang region processing fee was quoted at 250/300 yuan/mt, up 100 yuan/mt. (Unit: yuan/mt)
